| SPEARHEAD (1) Definition: A person or group that begins an activity or leads an attack against somebody/something. ______________________________________________________________________ * All seven elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary. 2. Prepared for task before commencement of action. That is, acquired the wherewithal necessary to proceed from starting point. 3. Got proper briefing, encouragement, did necessary rehearsal(s), etc., as applicable (to emphasize). 4. Suffers no unplanned loss during preparation and while doing early action or activity. 5. Starts well, as exactly prepared and planned for, directed or ordered, expected or hoped for, etc. (Connect to #2 & #3.) 6. Continues successfully, to the designated point, before the main body, a backup, additional support, etc. arrives or joins to continue and/or complete action. That is, person or group has adequate stamina or staying power. 7.
