| SOCIAL ORDER Definition: The social order in a place is the way that society is organized there. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eight elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary to have an organized society in place. 2. Formal institutions to ensure its survival will be in place. That is, it will be possible to enforce its laws, rules and regulations. 3. The rulers, managers, haves and the ruled, workers, have-nots, will all have and know their places in the scheme of things. 4. Arrangements subsisting will be convenient for and tolerant of visitors, tourists, development partners, researchers, etc. 5. Provisions will exist for a review or reform of the status quo. 6. Remains for as long as will be desired by the majority of the people in particular society, especially if order can be threatened. 7. Guarantees that an external party or third parties cannot interfere with existing situation by way of an invasion or a takeover. 8.
