i. The expression that you have on your face when you are happy, amused, etc. in which the corners of your mouth turn upwards.

ii. The expression you have on your face in which the corners of your mouth turn upwards.

iii. The facial expression made in smiling.

1. Purposeful and necessary. This could be to express happiness, amusement, etc.

2. Comes from the 'inside'; arising from a feeling, emotion, etc. it s not ordinarily ordered or commanded (unless the command brings forth an emotion).

4. Warm (affectionate), except it is/was in derision or irony.

5. Expression is never for a fleeting moment or in a flash. It tarries/lingers awhile or briefly.
