| BEREAVEMENT (1) Definitions: i. The state of having lost a relative or close friend because they have died. ii. To leave desolate, especially by death. ______________________________________________________________________ * All six elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary. 2. Deceased is 'irreplaceable'. 3. Loss occurred before expected time or 'due time'. 4. On real or actual death. So, it can be only after burial or cremation (not while in coma or during a near-death experience or even while body is in the mortuary). 5. When 'involved' with the deceased, one way or another. 6.
