| SLIP (7) Definition: (give somebody the slip) (informal) To escape from someone you do not want to be with. ______________________________________________________________________ * All nine elements would be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary for you. That is, there will be a reason. 2. The other person is desirous of being together or seen with you. 3. The evasion or avoidance will not bring you any serious loss. 4. Method of achieving aim will not involve a lying or destruction. 5. Escape will cost nothing in real time, or legal fees, or emotions. 6. The time spent away from the 'unwanted' will be used productively. 7. You will be able to sustain 'disappearance' for desired duration. 8. There will be no voluntary disclosure, later, to who you avoided. 9.
