Slave trade
SLAVE TRADE

Definition: The buying and selling of people as slaves, especially in the 17th-19th centuries.

1. Purposeful and necessary, especially for the traders.

2. Trade, that is, business was not illegal where practised.

3. Products (= slaves) never willingly agree to be sold and bought.

4. Healthiness and fitness of slaves (= 'goods'), to undertake trip, voyage, etc. would be established and ensured through a crude physical check or examination and/or the basics of treatments.

5. Complaints, grumblings, kicks, protests, if any, of 'commodities', will never be condoned or tolerated and would be decisively crushed.

6. No humane treatment would be given to the sold and bought 'items', either before, during or after transactions are concluded. That is, slaves are never consulted in respect of their well-being or welfare.

7. Value will be obtained from exchange, especially by the buyer(s). That is, slave labour will surpass the 'worth' of what he/she (= slave) was obtained for.

8. (Reserved.) (Slaves will never be deported or repatriated to home country, on account of any offence or misdemeanour or ill-health!)

9. Exchange achieves objective(s).
