Definition: The movement of a vehicle when it suddenly slides sideways in an uncontrollable way.

1. Unexpected, even if there is a suspicion or likelihood of it happening.

2. No crash occurs as a result of the movement. That is, vehicle does not hit another vehicle, a person or an object as a direct consequence of slide.

3. Slide lasts for appropriate time in the opinion of the vehicle occupant(s). That is, control is regained timely or vehicle comes to a stop quickly.
