| SIGNPOSTING (2) Definition: The act or process of showing clearly the way that an argument, a speech, etc. will develop. ______________________________________________________________________ * All seven elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary for who puts up 'signposts'. 2. No hidden codes, riddles, secrets; no ploy or plot undisclosed. 3. Dislike(s), disgust(s), aim(s), priorities or preferences, assumption(s), threat(s), promise(s), if any, etc., etc. are stated clearly and early on. 4. Limitations and/or hindrances, the existence of subjectivity or objectivity are stated in the beginning. 5. Act or process will bring no unplanned loss in the course of argument, speech, etc. That is, development as it occurs, will be understandable for the hearer(s)/listener(s), participant(s), all members of an audience, etc. 6. Anticipated end result, the expected output or outcome, etc. will be mentioned or made known before particular end result, etc. occurs. 7.
