| SIGNER Definition: A signer is someone who communicates information with deaf people using sign language. ______________________________________________________________________ * All six elements should be in. 1. Has a purpose and considers communicating with the deaf necessary. 2. Person is not deaf! And style will not include gestures that can annoy or be concluded as making jest or fun of the hard of hearing. 3. Never physically touches a 'listener' to get a message across. 4. Sign language will be fully and timely understood by the 'hearers'. 5. Will be able to understand the replies or questions that might be given or asked by the deaf persons that he or she 'spoke' to or with. 6.
