| SHORT-SIGHTEDNESS (1) Definition: (especially British English) The ability to see things clearly only if they are very close to you. ______________________________________________________________________ * All four elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary - the sight or view, not the 'defect' ! 2. The eyes are not strained in effort to see things. That is, to see things clearly person does not need to further move objects closer to eyes or move closer to objects (to emphasize, see definition). 3.
