SHARE CAPITAL

Definition: (business) A company's share capital is the money that shareholders invest in order to start or expand a business.

1. Purposeful and necessary to have money to use for endeavour.

2. Amount will be as decided by management or owners of company.

3. Sum will be adequate to meet all legal requirements and match the relevant 'ratios', as will be required by the regulatory authorities.

4. Secured or saved appropriately such that sum won't be 'blown away'.

5. Managed effectively to help achieve company's objective(s), while part of the amount is properly insured or re-insured (as applicable).

6. Earns dividend or yields interest for the company (= shareholders).

7. Reflected correctly in the books of account of the company. And can be increased, if necessary, after due processes are complied with.

8. Serves purpose(s), as exactly hoped for by the contributors.
