| SENSE OF PATRIOTISM Definition: Behaviour or a feeling of being loyal to your country or nation. ______________________________________________________________________ * All nine elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary for who has love of country at heart. 2. Displayed in tough times, even when bad behaviour can be excused. 3. No direct or immediate personal benefit will be expected by 'hero'. 4. Sacrifice and concession, compromise and collaboration, etc. with person(s) of similar bent, will be the highlights of the situation. 5. No time limits or restrictions will be placed on the desire. 6. Dedication or commitment, focus or attention, support or efforts, etc. to the national cause will be full or total; solid and paramount. 7. Defended by acts and actions; but, not dutch courage. That is, the feeling will be based on conviction, not bogus speeches or rhetoric. 8. Greater vigilance and restraint will be displayed in the situation, especially where a demand is made by the authority for loyalty to be given to individuals - instead of institutions - and a try is made for whims and caprices - not constitutions and regulations - to rule. 9.
