| SENSE OF EMBARRASSMENT Definition: The feeling of being embarrassed (= being shy, awkward or guilty). ______________________________________________________________________ * All nine elements would be in. 1. Feeling will be unprepared for, and unexpected or undesired. 2. The basis or reason will be current; specific and identifiable. 3. An expectation existed that could not be met at the point in time. 4. Some other person or persons would be present in the situation. 5. Witness or witnesses would not have contributed to discomfiture. 6. Brings a loss - fear, rejection, etc. - to who experiences the emotion. 7. No solution, encouragement or support in the immediate period that condition is on. 8. Continues for a period of time considered as too long, such as to have a 'negative' impact. 9. Will be worsened by an attempt to show dutch courage, a papering, grandstanding, one-upmanship, etc. ____________ RELAX. LET IT GO.
