SENSE OF ALIENATION (1)

Definition: A person who has a sense of alienation will feel excluded or unwanted, undeservedly, in a particular situation.

1. There can be no justification or reason for being shut out.

2. Basis will be deep-seated problems, whether or not declared.

3. Who feels as an outsider will perceive self as in a minority.

4. He or she will be vulnerable, and impressionable, at the time.

5. A sense of loss, disappointment, etc. would arise from feeling.

6. No solace in situation and a relief in the law is not available.

7. Lasts for a tolerable period of time. That is, feelings will end.

8. Society or organization, community or group, etc. loses therefrom.
