| SELF-PROMOTION Definition: If you accuse someone of self-promotion, you disapprove of them because they are trying to make themselves seem more important than they really are. ______________________________________________________________________ * All six elements would be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary, for who accuses another person or disapproves the behaviour of somebody else. 2. Act or actions taken in furtherance of promoting self are specific and identifiable, measurable and/or assessable. 3. No sincere efforts or attempt will be seen as being made by the person pretending to be of a level of higher importance, to aspire to the particular better level of relevance desired. 4. The person that is guilty of self-deception is promptly made aware, of the fact that his or her 'shenanigans' have been realized or exposed. 5. A loss - of respect, reputation, etc. - and a disadvantage - distrust, disregard, etc., - will be suffered by the person who has too little self-regard. 6. Person shown a disapproval will learn a lesson therefrom. Hopefully, therefore, self-congratulatory behaviour will not be repeated in the future.
