| SELF-AGGRANDIZEMENT Definition: (British English) (disapproving) If you say that someone is guilty of self-aggrandizement, you mean that they do certain things in order to make themselves more powerful, wealthy, or important. ______________________________________________________________________ * All seven elements would be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary for the person concerned. 2. Acts or actions are not illegal or unlawful (to emphasize). 3. Things will be continually done until a target, if any, is reached. 4. Some satisfaction will be obtained from the self-indulgence. 7.
