* All nine elements should be in.

1. Has a purpose and considers it necessary to return home.

2. Returns to motherland of own volition. Or is legally repatriated.

3. He or she was away, in foreign land, for a considerable period, for accent to be genuinely 'strange'.

4. Achieved the goal(s) of being away, to wherever and for whatever.

5. Has no desire or plan to return to foreign country, on a permanent basis, sooner or later, after return.

6. Settles in or gets integrated fully, on return. That is, will not be snobbish or display any airs on being back to roots.

7. Qualification(s) obtained, or work experience(s) gathered, or possessions owned, etc. will be made use of on return, for his or her own benefit and the good of his or her countrymen/countrywomen and other African citizens. That is, been-to will not be frustrated on return. In other words, will achieve the goal(s) of returning home.

8. Person's skin colour would not have changed, from bleaching, suntanning, etc. while he or she was away. (To emphasize.)

9. 'Foreigner' will revert, after some reasonable time, to his or her original accent, on being 'assimilated' back.
