* All nine elements would be in.

1. Won't be possible in situation, in spite of explanations made and support or assurances given, for 'the sick' to maximize opportunities or potentials. (And no real concerted attempt at a linkage can or will be made in the circumstances.)

2. Sufferer cannot appreciate or accept superior reasoning. And will, therefore, not consider anything as a disappointment or let-down. (And/or will treat every situation as a threat or danger; the relative as an enemy or a stranger.)

3. Expressions (= thought, emotion and behaviour) will be constant and endless. That is, mind is always 'working', feelings ever alive and actions will be non-stop. (That is, 'patient' will not be sick in a physical way; apart from inability to connect, he or she will be otherwise healthy!)

4. Ill person has real needs and wants, but will not get or be granted or given particular desires, as a result of not clearly expressing wishes. (And will not complain about whatever is secured or provided, as a full realization of differences existing will not be had in the condition.)

5. Thoughts cannot be current, emotions will be abnormal and behaviour not ennobling. (There will be no likelihood of any right-thinking person(s), apart from his or her relative(s) and/or medical professional(s), associating freely with 'patient' or loony.)

6. Resistance and opposition to being medically treated will be at an optimum level. (Refusal or disapproval will include physical efforts to avoid being confined or handled against personal desires.)

7. Withdrawal will result in strange outcomes which will be seemingly normal for the one with mental illness. (Place(s) turned to residence or abode will be almost 'inhuman' to live in, and the people, now feared or estranged from, will be those that were hitherto considered indispensable.)

8. Considerable loss, from the lack of an insight, exists while illness lasts. (And the schizophrenic will generally pose a risk or danger to himself or herself and to the larger society/general public.)

9. Illness will be curable, with the right handling of patient by the appropriate professionals. (That is, illness lasts for a specific period, even if the solution, in the end, will be obtained only through answered prayers.)

Those awful wretched voices are in their heads.

Those cruel maniacal commands are being heard.

Those acts have been done in the mind's eyes.

Truly, OK, but, does it qualify as a metal disorder?
