| SCENE-SHIFTING Definition: The act or process of moving scenery in a theatre. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eight elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary. 2. Approved or authorized appropriately. 3. Movement is made timely and quickly or at the speed directed. 4. Object will not be damaged, cracked or broken in the process. 5. Will not be dropped or mishandled such that it causes an injury to the person or people moving object. 6. The features or appearance will not be disfigured by a scratch, smear, spill, etc. either deliberately or inadvertently. 7. Will be shifted to the exact spot required and placed safely. 8.
