| SCARE STORY Definition: Something that is said or written to make people frightened and think that a situation is much more unpleasant or dangerous than it really is. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eight elements would be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary for the 'storyteller'. 2. Not about something that has happened (to emphasize). 3. Not about what is the impossibility or an unlikelihood. 4. Will have no hero/heroine that can be a refuge or source of hope. 5. Told completely without a missing link or an 'unanswered question'. 6. Dire consequences will be projected, if ..., for disbelieving tale. 7. Talks, wording, 'evidence', etc. will be seemingly very convincing. 8.
