| SALVATION (1) Definitions: i. (in Christianity) The state of being saved from the power of evil. ii. The fact of being saved by Jesus Christ from evil. ______________________________________________________________________ * All six elements would be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary, especially for who is saved. And best when asked for by who was under the clutches of Lucifer. 2. Person(s) saved had an unchanging, very firm belief in the redeeming power of Jesus Christ, the Lord and Saviour. 3. There is a certainty that evil and danger is present, which will be overcome. And/or there had been a confrontation with, or a temptation by, the Devil, from which a victory (coming from the Lord) was obtained. 4. All six steps will be involved in the process. That is, there will be Acknowledgement (of sinful nature); Repentance (for bad deeds); Confession (of sins); Forsaking (of bad ways); Believing (in Christ, the Saviour); and Receiving (Jesus, as your Redeemer). 5. Evidence of being saved abound. That is, the fact that old things passed away and everything became new would be seen, in deeds: no more indecent or provocative dressings, vulgar or abusive language, lying or dishonesty, misbehaviour or bad behaviour, etc., etc. 6. Protection will be guaranteed for life. And who is saved will not backslide until he or she dies. That is, safety will lead to or end in heaven. In other words, redemption is not without regeneration and therefore, serves purpose(s). FREELY GOT. ______________ JESUS SAVES. | |
