Definition: Skill in persuading people to buy things.

1. Purposeful and necessary.

2. Skill has a basis; duty, training, conviction, urgency, etc.

3. Method or methodology adopted will be flawless - legal, assuring or convincing, patient, pleasing, etc.

4. Person with skill will have the ability to answer a question or provide a satisfactory and thorough explanation, concerning the product or service being marketed.

5. Skill will be non-discriminatory. That is, salesperson will not have an aversion to selling a particular product or service to specific class or group of person(s).

6. Demonstration or display of skill will not expose marketer to a danger or risk, or cause an unplanned financial loss for company/organization, or for owner of goods or provider of services.

7. Serves purpose(s), as exactly hoped for, even if ... .
