| SALES PITCH (1) Definition: A person's sales pitch is what they say in order to persuade someone to buy something from them. ______________________________________________________________________ * Whatever is said ..., should contain all nine. 1. The purposes that thing can serve or the functions it can perform. 2. The need and importance for prospective customer to acquire thing. 3. Benefits, advantages, good, etc. that will be missed if not bought. 4. The necessity to not delay buying the thing at a particular moment. 5. Deemphasizes the pitfalls, etc., if any, in what's being marketed. 6. New, exciting, positive details or information previously unknown. 7. 'Disapproval' or 'condemnation' of any rival product(s), if any. 8. Language, jargon, data, comparison, etc. will be understandable. 9. Demonstration, proof, trial, an experiment, etc. that support talk. __________________________________________ ... usually flawless and believable !
