| SAFARI (1) Definition: A trip to see or hunt wild animals, especially in east or southern Africa. ______________________________________________________________________ * All six elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary. (And formally approved or authorized, where required.) 2. Person(s) undertaking trip is/are prepared and equipped for adventure. (Vehicle and clothing or dressing offers appropriate protection.) 3. Season is right to be able to see a variety of wild animals or kill the kind(s) desired. (Not in bad weather or in closed season!) 4. Attention is or will be paid all through the trip. That is, sights will be satisfactory and game killed will be sufficient. In other words, trip achieves objective(s). (With or without 20/20 vision or dog for hunting.) 5. No unplanned loss is suffered before, during and after trip, that will be traceable directly traceable to the desire to watch/observe or to hunt/kill animals. (Whether or not a photograph is taken or the meat of killed animal is eaten or sold.) 6. No destruction of, or damage to, the environment or ecosystem occurs during trip.
