| ROUT (1) Definition: A situation in which somebody is defeated easily and completely in a battle or competition. ______________________________________________________________________ * All nine elements would be in. 1. Purposeful, on the part of the victor. 2. No glaring advantage to (eventual) winner at the start of 'play'. 3. No visible 'mismatch' (connect to #2, to emphasize). 4. Winner/victor is not assisted illegally - by drugs, manipulated equipment, compromised officials, etc. 5. Officials or rules, if any, are not clearly discriminatory, to the advantage of one party over another. 6. The defeated (= loser) put in best efforts.
