| ROOM-MATE (2) Definition: (North American English) A person who shares a flat/apartment with one or more others. ______________________________________________________________________ * All nine elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary, whatever this/these may be, whether the person is indigent or not-so-poor! 2. Not a troublesome, cantankerous, noisy or lousy mate. That is, attitude and behaviour is tolerable for all others in flat/apartment. 3. Not a person who is ... dirty ('rat'), or unclean ('roach'), or untidy ('cow'), or filthy ('pig')! 4. Not indebted. That is does not fail to settle part of the maintenance costs of the building (if applicable). 5. Person is not a law breaker!
