| ROGUES' GALLERY Definition: A collection of photographs of criminals that is kept by the police and used when they want to identify someone. ______________________________________________________________________ * All seven elements should be in. 1. Purposeful to have collection. And authorized by law. 2. Considered a necessity by police to keep criminals' pictures. 3. Pics will be considered as recent, vis-a-vis the ages of the criminals at the time of conducting identification exercise. 4. Pictures are not defaced or distorted by the mode of safekeeping. 5. Relevant details such as names, height, race, etc., accompany pics. 6. Updated or reviewed regularly. That is, a rehabilitated or reformed criminal will have photo taken off.
