| RINGING (1) Definition: An act or a sound of ringing (= a loud clear sound made by a bell). ______________________________________________________________________ * All ten elements should be in. 1. Purposeful - signal, warning, reminder, role, etc. 2. Considered a necessity to ring a bell or to adopt the use of particular sound to achieve goal(s). 3. Act is done and/or heard timely to help achieve objective(s). 4. Clarity and loudness is not in doubt, whether sound is near or far. That is, what is heard is not and cannot be mistaken for a different kind of sound. 5. Pitch is exactly as desired - loud, very loud or 'deafening'! That is, no inconvenience or discomfort is suffered as a result of sound. And no injury is suffered by the person performing the act. 6. If ring (= sound) is made once, it is continuous, without a break or 'crack' (to emphasize). 7. If ring is in stages, each stage is at a speed desired, programmed or planned. 8. Act lasts for period desired or hoped for. (Connect to #6 & #7.) 9. Ring has no echo. Or an echo, if any, does not overlap, distort or disturb (= confuse) the sound. 10.
