| REVERIE (1) Definition: (formal) A state of thinking about pleasant things, almost as though you are dreaming. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eight elements would be in. 1. State is in a safe environment. That is, the surrounding of where you are is secured. In other words, there will be no threat of danger present. 2. You are not under the influence of drugs, etc. at the time. That is, you are in a natural, proper frame of mind: no hallucination. 3. The imaginings, thoughts, etc. are crystal-clear (to emphasize). That is, pleasant thoughts can be described and/or recalled neatly. 4. You are fully awake when thinking of pleasant things (connect to #2, see definition). 5. State lasts or continues for desired period or duration (connect to #8). 6. Time spent daydreaming is free time, not a period meant for you to perform or accomplish a task. 7. No conscious effort is involved. That is, no rhapsodizing as a result of pleasant thoughts. And raw emotions are not shown during the period. 8. You do not wake up, at the end of 'dream' to behold a 'nightmare' ! ____________ Zzzzz.....
