| REVENGE (2) Definition: (sport) The defeat of a person or team that defeated you in a previous game. ______________________________________________________________________ * All nine elements should be in. 1. You put in your best efforts during the previous game that you woefully or gallantly lost. 2. The officiating during previous (and this) game was excellent. 3. You put in true, real effort during the rematch. That is, you do not cheat or commit an illegality in order to defeat opponent. 4. You do not connive with the official(s). And/or you do not tamper with the recording, measuring, etc. instrument(s) or sports equipment, such that an undue advantage is conferred on you during play. 5. Margin of victory in rematch is bigger than what the opponent earned in the previous game that you lost. 6. Result, that is, victory, is not cancelled later. 7. Rules, regulations, etc., were not changed during play such that they become different from the rules, etc. that existed during the previous game. 8. You do not sustain an injury during game. 9. Members of the defeated team (if applicable) are same as those in the team you triumph over in rematch. ________________________________ 'SWEET VICTORY', not vengeance !
