| RESEARCHER Definition: A person doing a research (= who is studying a subject carefully, especially in order to discover new facts or information about it). ______________________________________________________________________ * All ten elements should be in. 1. Purposeful: no pointlessness. 2. Methodical. That is, research activities are arranged, organized, performed, etc. in proper order: no thoughtlessness. 3. Person has the ability to understand. That is, he or she will be in the right frame of mind and with the five faculties in peak condition. In other words, person will be intelligent enough to recognize or appreciate what is being carefully studied: no handicap. 4. Has the wherewithal necessary - materials, support, equipment, funds, etc. - to undertake an excellent work: no excuses. 5. Dedicated. That is, devotes adequate time, efforts, attention, etc. to the assignment: no predicament. 6. Has no preconceived opinion, preference or bias before and during work: no hang-ups! 7. Concludes study or studies, however long this/these lasts and whatever conclusion(s) is/are arrived at: no circumvention. 8. Makes a recording, report, takes notes, submits recommendation(s), etc. of find(s) or finding(s): no sentiments! 9. Does not get involved in illegal, immoral or abhorrent practices: no buts! 10. Achieves objective(s).
