| RESCUE (2) Definition: An occasion when somebody/something is saved from a dangerous or difficult situation. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eleven elements would be in. 1. Purposeful (connect to #4). 2. Considered by both or all parties necessary to be saved. 3. Danger or difficulty is not in doubt and it is certainly known that the bad or wrong thing that will happen, if danger or difficulty is not prevented, will have dire consequences. 4. Person or thing is desirous of being saved. 5. Futile efforts were made and/or are still ongoing to try and be free from dangerous or difficult situation, by who what is in danger or difficulty. 6. Actions taken to be in situation are timely and prompt, before an injury, wound, damage, etc. or before more injury, wound, damage, etc. happened or happens to rescued person/thing. 7. Person/thing cooperates or cooperated with rescuer(s). That is, processes started and ended 'smoothly' (connect to #8). 8. No unplanned loss occurred in the situation for all the involved parties. And no serious damage to the environment as a result of the saving activities. 9. The condition in - bruised, frightened, famished, etc., - and from which person/thing got out from danger or difficulty, is as desired. 10. Occasion lasts for period hoped or planned for. That is, another danger or difficulty is not likely to be present in the immediate moments following escape. (To emphasize, connect to #11.) 11.
