| REPO MAN Definition: (North American English, informal) A person whose job is to repossess (= take back) goods from people who still owe money for them and cannot pay. ______________________________________________________________________ * All six elements would be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary. 2. Trained in the techniques needed for the job - approach, courtesy, language, etc. 3. Has some self-defense (= martial arts/karate, etc.) training/skills. (To emphasize.) 4. Effective and efficient in performing role(s) or discharging duty. ________ a. Does not connive with defaulters in any way. b. Does not damage items during collection and transportation. c. Does not use seized items for own benefit, before returning same. d. Does not replace items with some other cheaper alternatives, converting original to personal ownership. e. Never applies force to accomplish task. f. Not mocking or quarrelsome, etc. g. Takes goods back to store, premises, etc. in good time. h. ________ 5. Has the backing of the law to perform duties. That is, recognized as with authority to collect repossessed items. 6.
