| REPEAT OFFENDER Definition: Someone who commits the same sort of crime more than once. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eight elements would be in. 1. Has a purpose and believes it necessary to repeat offence. 2. Assumed to be in the right frame of mind at the time of committing specific wrongdoings. 3. Knows and prepared for the consequences of repeat offending. 4. Learnt no lesson or felt no serious pain or loss from earlier punishment, fine, warning, etc.(,if any!). 5. (If not permanently and securely put away) will commit offence again, for the umpteenth time. 6. Does not force or compel another to help him or her in committing offences. That is, offender will have no unwilling collaborator. 7. Achieves goal(s) of bad behaviour, whatever this/these is/are. 8. Never tries to justify manner of bad behaviour.
