| RELIGIOUS LEADER (1) Definition: (informal) Someone who is considered as the head of a faith-based group or grouping. ______________________________________________________________________ * All fifteen elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary - even if only he/she knows what for. 2. Has no doubts about his or her convictions. (To emphasize.) 3. Does not claim or struggle for superiority with any other religious or secular cum political leader(s). 4. Basis of his/her talks, sermons, action, etc. is the book or books guiding faith or religion. (Connect to #9.) 5. Does not deceive the flock - he/she may choose to delude himself or herself. That is, this 'Man/woman-of-God' will be honest, upright, forthright, right-thinking and with a clear conscience (connect to #1). 6. Does not get any additional or extra benefits from follower(s) - not financial or romantic or ... . That is, not a business leader or ... . (Unless the religion prescribes this sort of 'strange' arrangements!) 7. Does not condemn or misrepresent or criticize other religions or faiths. (And does not react violently if his or hers is criticized.) 8. Does not employ the use of force, cajoling, intimidation, threats, etc. to try to convert people to faith. And does not practice any form of extremism - in the mode or worship, etc. (Is his/her 'god' or God not a God of peace, compassion and love?) 9. Life and lifestyle is in accordance with the teachings of his or her faith/belief/religion. (Will practice what is being preached.) 10. Does not commit an illegality that can lead to being imprisoned by the earthly authorities. (Forget about the Final Judge?) 11. Will defend his or her faith to the end, no matter the situation or risk involved (connect to #2 & #10, to emphasize). 12. Basis of powers, if any, will not be from dark or evil forces (Unless the religion is Satanism, where a black mass will be a routine activity!) 13. Does not tempt or mislead follower(s) to commit a sin against Almighty God and an offence against man (to emphasize, connect to #6). 14. 'Followership' does not diminish or end after his or her death! And there will be no cult following to make them all 'go' with the 'holy one'. 15.
