| REJECTION (2) Definition: A situation of being turned down or not being accepted for a job, position, etc. ______________________________________________________________________ * All ten elements would be in. 1. Purposeful, and necessary, for the person(s) that rejects. 2. Applicant is qualified or meets the minimum requirement for acceptance/employment/contract, etc. 3. Person accepted does not have a lesser or worse qualification than the 'reject'. And process in choosing the reject is transparent. 4. Applicant who was turned down did not expend excessive or total resources/finances/time, etc. in the elusive search. 5. The notification of being rejected or of being unacceptable is made timely to who is turned down, with or without apologies/regrets. 6. No problem such as hypertension arises as a result of dashed hopes. 7. Reject is still in a position to (re)apply again, after failure, for same thing or for something close (to emphasize, connect to #8). 8. Qualification, experience, efforts, etc. of applicant is not made mockery of or condemned in the course of seeking post, etc. 9. Reason(s) for being rejected is/are made known to applicant. 10. Situation is not afterwards wished reversed by the authority that turned down applicant.
