| REHABILITATION (1) Definition: The act or process of helping somebody to have a normal, useful life again after they have been very ill/sick or in prison for a long time. ______________________________________________________________________ * All ten elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary. 2. Person (= recipient) is receptive of the help offered. 3. Help is full, complete. That is, person is not discriminated against in any way. 4. Help is not of an illegal nature. 5. Rendered timely or promptly. __________________ 6. What is given is exactly what is required or requested by the receiver. That is, person to receive assistance was asked his or her preferences (= needs or wants). Or these are certainly known. 7. Period that help is available is believed appropriate. That is, assistance, advice, etc. is not a one-off, and lasts till substantial or full recovery. 8. Help is the right type, not assistance that brings bad memories. That is, acts or actions are untainted, and beneficial, desired, etc. (connect to #3). 9. Help provided helps or achieves objective(s) (connect to #4 & #8). 10.
