Redeployment
REDEPLOYMENT

Definition: The movement of somebody/something to a new position or job.

1. Purposeful, in the opinion of authorizing person(s).

2. Justifiable or necessary. That is, a reason exists for change of duties (= position or job); reorganization, retirement, etc.

3. Change is duly approved - not a self-redeployment.

4. There is a competence or capability to perform optimally in new position or job.

5. Person assigned new responsibilities is given the wherewithal - equipment and tools, training, support, etc. - to carry out duties as expected.

6. Schedules in new position or job are specific and made known to person tasked with responsibilities.

7. Responsibilities expected to be performed are not illegalities, whatever previous duties were (to emphasize).

8. Working environment is conducive for person given new task(s). That is, staff, if any, conditions of service, etc. are okay.

9. Task(s) from which person is moved does/do not suffer. That is, appropriate replacement, stand-in, etc., where necessary, is provided to take over the responsibilities being moved away from.

10. Person does work in new job or position effectively and efficiently (connect to #9).

11. (Reserved.) (No misgivings, complaints, etc. by person moved. And no request will be made for another movement shortly after.)
