| RECYCLING Definition: The treatment of things that have already been used so that they can be used again. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eight elements should be in. 1. Purposeful (see definition). 2. Necessity to treat thing for reuse again - time-saving, economic consideration, preference, scarcity, etc. 3. Old or former thing had been fully and completely used up. 4. Cost of treating thing is less than that of acquiring some raw material(s) to produce/manufacture a new item. 5. Environment is not damaged or despoiled as a result of processes, chemicals, etc. used in the treatment. 6. Nothing illegal is used or applied in the treatment process. 7. The use or uses to which thing is or can be put into is exactly as that/those which the former thing was applied for. 8.
