| RECRUIT (1) Definition: A person who has recently joined the armed forces or the police. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eleven elements should be in. 1. Has a purpose for joining, and considers it a necessity to join. 2. Voluntarily enlisted, not conscripted or coerced into becoming a 'zombie' or a bobby. 3. Completed initial training without a hitch. That is, person passed out successfully and healthily from academy, depot, etc. 4. Learning and training on the job. That is, always at duty post and gaining from the experience of senior colleagues. 5. Breaks no law and commits no offence, as a result of new status. 6. Respects the civilians. (To emphasize, connect to #4.) 7. Always smartly, neatly and well-dressed. And also equipped appropriately, whenever necessary. 8. Performs duty to the best of his or her abilities. 9. Not disloyal or unpatriotic. That is, bears true allegiance to his or her country and obeys all lawful commands of superiors. 10. (Reserved.)
