| RECOUNT Definitions: i. The action of counting something again, especially votes. ii. A second or additional counting, especially of votes. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eight elements should be in. 1. Purposeful to repeat count. 2. Considered a necessity to help achieve a specific goal - resolve a dispute, cause a disruption, etc. And approved by the relevant authority. 3. There was a total figure - correct or incorrect - that was had from the earlier or previous count(s). 4. Nothing is added to, or taken away from, the items to be recounted. 5. Method adopted, whether new or the former, is the appropriate one. 6. People and/or equipment to be employed in the process are in a better frame of mind or more efficient, at the time of repeat count. And location, if changed, is more conducive for a count (to emphasize). 7. Act serves purpose(s) or achieves objective(s). That is, a (new?) total is arrived at and accepted by all, without dispute. 8.
