| RECORD-BREAKER Definition: A person or thing that achieves a better result or higher level than has ever been achieved before. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eight elements would be in. 1. Accomplished feat with genuine and honest efforts or capabilities. 2. Instrument(s) and/or official(s) used to record achievement is/are of the best grade and functioning optimally at the time of recording (= calculation, measurement, observation, etc.) accomplishment. 3. There was a previous record set. That is, person or thing is not strictly a 'first-timer'. 4. Person or thing can accomplish standard again, or get very close to same standard another time, all other things being equal. That is, 'incredible', record-breaking achievement was not a fluke ! 5. No law or rule was broken or flouted in achieving record, especially if this went undetected by official(s) and/or equipment. 6. (Reserved.)
