| RECORD (3) Definition: The best result or the highest or lowest level that has ever been reached, especially in sport. ______________________________________________________________________ * All seven elements would be in. 1. Instrument(s) and/or official(s) used to record achievement was/were in excellent working condition at the time mark was set. 2. Instrument(s) was/were not tampered with and official(s) was/were not compromised. That is, recording of placing or the results of actions were as per the actual performance(s). 3. Record or result can be improved upon. That is, level or mark is not an impossibility for a normal person or thing to equal, if not surpassed ! 4. Result or record that has become a mark or standard was genuinely attained. That is, no performance-enhancer was used and there was no deliberateness to perform below an expected level. 5. Level, whether low or high, or best result lasts for some time before it is equalled or broken (again). 6. If achievement is of the best level, it is desired to be broken; and if of the lowest, the endeavour will be to avoid it. 7.
