RECONSTRUCTION (4)

Definition: A short film showing events that are known to have happened in order to try and get more information or better understanding, especially about a crime.

1. Purposeful (see definition, to emphasize).

2. Considered a necessity to make recording, as a likelihood of progress would only be made on the basis of a 'recollection'.

3. Sources of information from which film is made/acted are genuine, credible and true.

4. Performance of actors, actresses, minnows, characters, etc. was excellent.

5. The scene(s) or location(s) where film is shot is/are the actual point(s) of activities or the details are very closely reconstructed.

6. No room for wild conjectures in the re-enactment. That is, no exaggeration, fantasies or fabrications are included in the production. And nothing, however unpalatable, is excluded (connect to #3 & #8).

7. Duration is truly short in the opinion of those who hope to get a better understanding or desire to search for clues.

8. Film provides a clue or leads to a better understanding. That is, purpose(s) of reconstructing the events is/are served. In other words, desired clarification is achieved and crime is solved as a direct outcome of film watched.
