| RECLAMATION (2) Definition: The act or process of making land that is naturally too wet or too dry suitable to built on, farmed, etc. ______________________________________________________________________ * All five elements would be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary (see definition). 2. Area of land is large enough to be of use if and when reclaimed. 3. Soil that will be used to reclaim area will not be contaminated with radiation or radioactive materials. That is, appropriate tests, that confirms suitability, will be conducted before the start of process. 4. Suitability that will be achieved will be for a considerable period of time to help maximize the expected gain(s) (connect to #3). That is, reclaimed land will be appropriately protected, especially before its usage commences. 5. Construction (= building), planting (= farming), etc. will take place on recovered land.
