| RECIDIVIST Definition: (formal) A person who continues to commit crimes, and seems unable to stop, even after being punished. ______________________________________________________________________ * All six elements would be in. 1. Person is not of a sound mind (to emphasize), whether or not he or she admits this. 2. Does not gainfully use the proceeds of past crimes such that there would be nothing to benefit from a continuation of lawbreaking. 3. Never denies committing crime, won't waste the time of 'the court'. 4. Does not tire of listening to an admonition or getting a rebuke. 5. Gets some enjoyment or satisfaction from the denial, restriction, suffering, etc. given as punishment. That is, will never be found complaining about a ruling, judgment of a court, etc. 6.
