| REASSESSMENT Definition: A rethink about something in order to decide if you need to change your opinion of it. ______________________________________________________________________ * All nine elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary (see definition). 2. No bias or preconceived position, arising from new information, etc., at the time you decide to review your earlier 'stance'. 3. The earlier thinking or reasoning process was not adequate or thorough in your opinion. 4. You request for new or additional information, support, data, etc. 5. You have enough time to consider the issue(s) again. That is, new assessment is not rushed. 6. The strategy or approach used in the thinking process is different from the previous one (to emphasize, connect to #2 & #3). 7. A decision is reached - to stay with old or to change partly or completely. That is, no indecision after the rethink. 8. Decision reached was of your own freewill - not influenced or made for you by a benefactor, etc. (To emphasize.) 9.
