| REALITY CHECK Definition: An occasion when you are reminded of how things are in the real world, rather than how you would like things to be. ______________________________________________________________________ * All ten elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary, whether you are prepared or not. 2. Reminder is never prepared for or expected (to emphasize). 3. You were already in your 'dreamworld' before being 'brought back down to earth'. 4. Failure, disappointments, regret(s)., losses, etc. were what you were surely headed for, before the reminder. 5. 'Outlay' (= time, energy, expenses, expenditure, etc.) already made is irrecoverable. _____________ WAKE UP ! (now, quick, immediately!) (See perfect EARLY WARNING.) 'Outlay' was enormous (to emphasize, connect to #5). 7. Reminder is pungent (= real, practical, direct). In other words, reminder is not merely by way of saying 'beware', using ordinary words! 8. You have regret(s) for wasted efforts, whether you admit this publicly or you are self-deluded! 9. No discouragement still, on realization of your 'waywardness'! (Connect to #8 & #10.) 10. Plan, endeavour, activity, etc., after a review, where necessary, will still be attempted to be executed, done or accomplished, again, in a better manner. (Or, where necessary, 'project'/expectations may be scaled down or postponed or cancelled altogether, as applicable.)
