| READING GLASSES Definition: Glasses that are worn by people, for example when they are reading because they cannot see things close to them very well. ______________________________________________________________________ * All seven elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary for wearer/user. 2. Recommended by an optometrist or ophthalmic optician. 3. Has very clean, neat and unstained lenses whenever put on. 4. Fixed or fitted strongly and not likely to 'come apart'. 5. Not cracked or with a scratch at/on any point/part of a lens. 6. Comfortable on the nose when in use, especially if it will be worn for a long period of time. That is, weight will be considered okay. 7.
