| RANDOMNESS Definition: The quality of being done, chosen, etc. without somebody deciding in advance what is going to happen, or without any regular pattern. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eight elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and considered necessary, to choose, do, etc. without prior knowledge or previous planning. 2. Options in decision-making are varied and present in situation. That is, no compulsion to be random in acting in particular way. 3. No suspicion, hint, preview, peek, etc. was had before act; no forecast or forewarning, no prediction or sign. 4. There would be no impediment of time or space that would lead to a need for hurry or 'carelessness'. (Connect to #6.) 5. No contact by the senses with thing upon which a decision could have been influenced. That is, no serious viewing or sighting, smell, feel or touch, taste, etc., occurs, even as access to information, etc. would not be denied in situation. 6. No meditation or rumination over thing. That is, quality is truly impromptu. In other words, no second thoughts or rethinking will exists in the situation. 7. End result or outcome will be impossible to know while decision is being taken and/or while an act or action is being done. 8. No unplanned loss will arise in or from situation.
